'What we think we know of life
As human our understanding of the sea is always through some sort of window. We don't belong to the sea, we just watch it through, googles, glass or screens. We touch it through the barrier of our skin and wetsuits. We are gill less creatures so cannot fully connect.
In this body of work I wanted to expresses the great intimacy I feel about the sea when snorkelling or watching documentaries. That the great magnitude of sea life is both inviting and alienating
So I have created my Scientific Fable to celebrate the ocean a partly known spake that cannot be fully experienced.
